A.A., your relationship to print makes me think you’d appreciate Ascension Press, if you don’t already know them. They’re a Catholic formation publisher, but what distinguishes them in any context is the intentionality of the physical object. The four-volume Liturgy of the Hours in leatherlike binding is a good example: they’re making books that ask to be touched and returned to rather than scanned once and filed. In a market that treats print as nostalgic gesture, they treat it as primary. Worth your attention maybe.
